My name is Jennifer Houle, and I’m the one who’s running the show here!
I first got interested in soap making while I was furloughed from my job as a medical receptionist during the pandemic and found myself watching a lot more YouTube, and came across another soap maker in Texas who made videos about the soaps she makes for her monthly releases. Initially, I thought it could be a fun hobby to pick up, but as I was called back into work I forgot about it for the time being.
A little over a year later, circumstances led us to move to my home state of Maine and to my leaving my job behind, so once we had purchased the home where we live now I started making soap. As I had more than we were going to use, I handed it out to friends and family and started getting asked where I was selling it… which got me wondering if I COULD sell it… and hence June 30, 2022 I started on this crazy adventure!
